Estelle: Shelve It (11/9/2012)

It’s Sunday! Hope you guys are having a great weekend. No v-log this week because I have friends in town and I’m unplugging for most of the weekend. I do, though, want to send my well-wishes to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy these last two weeks. I grew up in New Jersey, and now live […]

Estelle - Hi M! Thanks for buying the book! Hope you enjoy. 🙂 I did read SF… I just didn’t review it so I think I’m primed to start. I hope I didn’t forget too much. It’s been a few busy weeks in between. xo

VeganYANerds - Hey hun! I went and bought both of the books that Tara is selling to raise funds – can’t wait to read them & thanks for the link!

And I hope you LOVE The Piper’s Son – have you read Saving Francesca? I would read it first 😉

Magan: Shelve It — November 4, 2012

Hey, hey, hey! I hope you guys have had an awesome Sunday. This has by far been one of the nuttiest days I can remember. (And ya know, totally the reason I’m posting later than usual.) I caved and purchased a few books lately. Sarah Dessen’s Lock and Key — I’m really loving the new covers […]

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - HOORAY FOR CONTEMPS! I’ve found that this year, I’ve read more contemporary novels than I ever have before. It’s a nice change from my dystopian/fantasy worlds, that’s for sure!

November 6, 2012 - 11:53 am

Jamie - I so need to read Audrey, Wait soon! You’ll have to tell me what you think!

November 5, 2012 - 7:08 pm

Paige - I read Audrey Wait last year and it was good, definitely a quick and easy read too. I also read Lock & Key and I loved it. It made me laugh, smile, and cry thats how good it was! I hope you enjoy everything 🙂

Sara (of the Page Sage) - Audrey, Wait is definitely a homerun hit book! It’s really one of my all time favorites. My copy is worn from rereading it so much. haha I hope you love it and all of your other new contemporary books, too! (:

Estelle: Shelve It (10/28/2012)

Edit: Thanks to Jamie (Perpetual Page Turner) I just bought Blackberry Winter by Sarah Joi for my Nook. Only $2.99! (Amazon too!) Guess what? I bought absolutely no books since my last Shelve It. NONE. But I did buy a lot of shelves to put in our new apartment. So that sort of counts, right? […]

April Books & Wine - I’ve been pretty lax about buying books lately too.

I hope you are okay in the wake of Sandy!

October 29, 2012 - 3:00 am

VeganYANerds - Horray for moving and putting up new shelves, soon you can buy lots more books to put on them!

And yay for polish-buying! I *think* Julep are cruelty free/vegan so I’m going to see if I can find them here 🙂

And be careful hun, stay safe!

October 28, 2012 - 8:40 pm

Tara - Please, please, PLEASE be careful this week with Sandy! At least the positive out of this is that you get to read lots and not have to go to work 🙂

October 23, 2012 - 3:47 pm

Tara - You both have such exciting things going on right now! And this is a bit creepy Magan, but I’m almost positive Anna has one of those canvases in her bathroom haha.

October 23, 2012 - 12:28 pm

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - Hooray for blogger outings! E, I had so much fun with you and Elena. Our adventures at the Strand + over dinner were great, and I wish we could all hang out more. Plus, you did get some pretty darn awesome books…

M, LOVE the prints. LOVE LOVE LOVE. One of the things the truly excites me about getting married is the fact that I’ll finally get to live in a place where I can decorate any way I want to! Prints + photos will DEFINITELY be prominent.

October 23, 2012 - 11:22 am

Lena - AHHH, so jealous of Estelle’s blogger outing. Why do all my favorite people always hang out without me? *cries*

SUCH A RUSH is amazeballs, and I really enjoyed Virtuosity.

And Magan, I love your prints, especially the big one. So pretty! I really liked TIME BETWEEN US, and you must let me know what you think of DAYS OF BLOOD AND STARLIGHT.

Happy Reading Ladies!

*MWAH*

Magan: Shelve It — October 07, 2012

Hi friends! I am sorry Shelve It is late today. No vlog this week because a) I was good and didn’t purchase any books, b) I have to return all of my library books tomorrow, and c) none received from publishers. I’m currently trying to crank through a library book before I have to relinquish […]

Melissa - So glad that you enjoyed Perks of a Wallflower! It does sound like an amazing movie! And good for you…not giving in and buying anything this week!

October 8, 2012 - 2:00 pm

Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads - I’m glad to hear that Perks is a good movie! I want to see it too, but hubby insists on reading the book first, which will likely mean that we wait until it’s out on DVD =P

Estelle: Shelve It at Rather Be Reading Blog (9/30/2012)

Eek. I’m sorry this is so late. It’s been a crazy weekend in our household. We are moving in (hopefully) two weeks and I barely had a chance to sit down in the past two days. (I should mention we are downsizing so this whole project seems very intimidating.) So… sadly, no v-log. I’m hoping […]
