Alexa Y. - This book sounds absolutely delightful! I think it’s worth checking out, and I’ll definitely be trying to get my hands on a copy sooner than soon 🙂 I totally love how the main character is bookish, and how the writing style sounds AWESOMELY unique.

April Books & Wine - Okay I need to put this out there right now. I went to click the amazon link and was like YAY! There’s a kindle version. But oh my god. It is priced at $10.99! $10.99 for a 192 page book that’s 17 years old.

So I guess used copy for $0.01 plus shipping it is!

April Books & Wine - I remember reading this wayyyy back when and being like THIS BOOK ROCKS! And then forgetting about it for a few years. But I did totally borrow it from my library’s young adult section back when it was 3 spinning racks and probably only 40 books? If that. Sigh. I am so glad the market for YA is so big these days.

Diatribe aside — I hope they put this out in ebook form because OMG I WANT TO REVISIT MY CHILDHOOD READING!

Kristin - I loved this book as a teen, and I think I still have my copy somewhere. Your review makes me want to grab it and re-read over Christmas break!

Jess @ Gone with the Words - Awww! That sounds so cute!! And I’m glad it didn’t let your inner teenage girl down and still held up today. Also, I hate frenemies! 🙁

elena - AWW this sounds totally QT! I do like it when characters are forced to work in teams and then chemistry happens! also, I misread the last one and was excited for the film but I HOPE IT WILL HAPPEN TOO.

December 12, 2012 - 5:08 pm

Alexa Y. - Ooh, a Christmas book! I think I should read this one, just to get even more into the spirit of the holidays. It sounds cute!

December 12, 2012 - 12:50 pm

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - A teen patron at the library where I work has raved about this one. I should pick it up. It’s the right time for it. 🙂

December 12, 2012 - 9:53 am

Ginger @ GReads! - I’ve been looking for a few Christmas books to read next & I’ve decided to add this one to the list! It sounds like the perfect story to get me in the mood for Christmas (even though I already am! hehe).

December 12, 2012 - 9:41 am

Cassie - This sounds so good! “Pacey and Joey like scenario” got me, they’re my fave! But I dont think its available for the Nook 🙁

December 12, 2012 - 9:36 am

Christina (A Reader of Fictions) - So I don’t really read Christmas stories, and I’ll probably stick to that, but you totally sell this. I am such a sap for stories about two people who mostly loathe one another having a change of heart. I blame Jane Austen for that!

December 12, 2012 - 9:29 am

Cynthia - This sounds like a fun one! I’ve been looking for some Christmas related books to read this month, I’ll be adding this one to my list. =)

Jamie - OH YAY. I’m going to see if this is at my library because this looks like a great winter read! Thanks for sharing!

December 5, 2012 - 9:59 pm

The Bumble Girl - This sounds like the perfect sweet read for the winter, and of course, even better if paired with some peppermint mocha, yum!
Will have to look it up during break at the library – thanks for the rec 🙂

December 5, 2012 - 2:06 pm

elena - yum yum peppermint mocha! also I’m glad that sex was such an open topic in this book, that’s certainly not what you typically see in YA. this sounds like a cute book overall! <3

December 5, 2012 - 12:34 pm

Alexa Y. - I would really want to read this one! It sounds like a nice book for December, and I love that they went on a Christmas-y vacation (especially since I would like to go on one too!)

Also, that song is swoony.
