Magan - Hi Mands! Thanks! I am a big waver, I suppose. Who knew it was a thing I did? HA!

January 31, 2012 - 10:46 am

Magan - Hi Megan! Thanks so much!

January 31, 2012 - 10:45 am

Magan - Sharon: IT. WAS. FANTASTIC. Seriously beautiful. I think it’s a good idea to wait for all the books in a series. It’s hard to keep up with them w/out having to re-read. I tried to just read Crossed when Matched came out, but think I would have been more into it if I had re-read Matched. :-/

January 31, 2012 - 10:44 am

Magan - Yay! Thanks, Sasha! I can’t waitttt to read it!

January 31, 2012 - 10:43 am

Magan - Kristi, thanks so much! I will definitely have to finagle a way to keep making the vlogs. My nerves + husband watching = weird me in the vlog. Hah. Thanks so much for coming by the blog!

January 31, 2012 - 10:42 am

Magan - Thank you, Alison! I can’t wait to read it! Still just stunned I now own it! πŸ™‚

January 31, 2012 - 10:40 am

Magan - Brittani! Yay for you winning an ARC! That’s so cool! Thanks so much for swinging by!

January 31, 2012 - 10:40 am

Magan - Hi Jessie Marie! Thank you so, so much! I hope you enjoy both books! They both deserve lots of credit, but are commmmpletely different! Hahah!

January 31, 2012 - 10:39 am

Magan - Ginger, YES to similar book tastes. I love it. And In Honor – wowza. Discussion must happen soon. TSK, um, just unbelievably awesome!

January 31, 2012 - 10:38 am

Magan - Alexa! Yay! Next book club! πŸ™‚ I am going to try to read it soon as well!

January 30, 2012 - 9:38 pm

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - I’m so happy I could do something so nice for someone so awesome! I sincerely hope you enjoy the book. I’m going to read it (if my schedule works out) this weekend πŸ™‚ And all the other books you mentioned sound really great too!

January 30, 2012 - 7:55 am

Ginger @ GReads! - Oh Magan, look at your & your pretty face πŸ™‚ I’m starting to realize that you and I share similar book tastes, which I think is AWESOME. We need to discuss our thoughts on In Honor. And as soon as you finish The Survival Kit, we must discuss that one too πŸ™‚ Thank you for the sweet mentions!

January 30, 2012 - 6:03 am

Jessie Marie - Hey there. First off, ladies, your blog is beautiful. Really stunning. Secondly, loved your vlog; I like when the vlogs are a little bit more than just a list. So after watching that, I suppose I’ll order Wither. You’ve twisted my arm and convinced me. Maybe The Survival Kit, too!

Anywho, great list and have a great week!

January 29, 2012 - 8:20 pm

Sharon @ Fictionally Inclined - Great vlog. πŸ™‚

Ohh, you got to read In Honor. I’m so envious! I am so impatient to read it because it sounds absolutely fantastic. I’m so glad it was as good as it sounds. As for the other books mentioned, Across the Universe is wonderful! ♥ I really want to read the Chemical Garden trilogy, but I’m going to try to wait until all three of them are out so I can read all of them at once. We’ll see how that works out…

January 29, 2012 - 7:58 pm

Megan - Oooh! I can’t wait to read Wither AND Fever!! Loved your blog πŸ™‚

January 29, 2012 - 7:51 pm

I’m really looking forward to In Honor and The Survival Kit, they sound so good!

I’m definitely not looking forward to Fever, I didn’t like Wither very much so I don’t know if I’ll bother with the sequel

Estelle: In My Mailbox (1/22/12)

Greetings all! Decided to throw my hat into the ring & record a v-log for this week’s In My Mailbox, which was started by Kristi a.k.a The Story Siren. Be sure to check out her latest too! Enjoy! (Hope it’s not too long… it’s my first one and I have no idea what I’m doing!) […]

VeganYANerds - Great vlog, Estelle!

I keep seeing Susane Colasanti’s name everywhere and I’d like to try a book by her.

I really hope you love the Book Thief, it’s a beautiful and sad story.

We are all such bad influences with books, every time I read a blog post I add another couple of books to my list. We will be reading forever!

January 22, 2012 - 11:42 pm

Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl - Yay! I love vlogs! It was so fun to see Magan last week, and now you!! I know what you mean about being in a book slump. I had to force myself through the last two books I read. I’m hoping to pull myself out of it ASAP. We had a blizzard all weekend, which is awesome reading weather… and I failed. Lame!

Austenland is actually the first book I ever reviewed. Ever. It was my first post on The Broke and The Bookish like… a year and a half ago. Haha. I had to have it be my first post on That Artsy Reader Girl because I’m nostalgic like that. I really loved it! I hope you do too. πŸ™‚ And what a good deal! Beauty Queens has caught my eye several times, so I need to try that one out. And I’m scared to read That Princess Diaries because I hear the movie is so much better. What do you think? And I love that you have show posters on your wall! I swear, that just screams to me that you’re a New Yorker. πŸ˜›

Well, it was so fun seeing your lovely face tonight! I’ll have to do a vlog as soon as I have something worth talking about. πŸ˜›

January 22, 2012 - 10:55 pm

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - Congratulations on your first vlog! πŸ™‚

I’ve read Austenland, and I thought it was pretty cute. I’m curious to read the next book, Midnight in Austenland! And I’ve also read Beauty Queens, which I thought was pretty entertaining because I didn’t totally take it seriously, lol.

I’ve been meaning to read The Book Thief as well. The book is staring at me right now from my book pile, so hopefully I get around to it soon.

On a totally unrelated note – I LOVE the prints/posters framed on your wall. Wicked is one of my favorite all time musicals.

And one last unrelated note – I can’t wait till we meet in person! πŸ˜€

Magan - Aww, thanks Ginger! I can’t wait to meet you tomorrow! I’m looking forward to ALA. I have way more books than I know what to do with right now.

January 19, 2012 - 1:14 pm

Magan - Thanks, Brittani! YEP! I was shocked it had the book too. I think my library has a decent selection of books, but it’s a matter of reserving them and waiting. Thanks so much for your awesome comment!

January 19, 2012 - 1:12 pm

Magan - Oh, great to know, Heather! I don’t know when I’ll read Dying to Know You. I need to make a list of the order in which I’d like to read everything.

January 19, 2012 - 1:10 pm

Magan - Hi Alison! Thanks for the comment! I am starting Wanderlove right now. I’m so excited to read it!

January 19, 2012 - 1:09 pm

Magan - April, I cried huge crocodile tears. I loved Before I Fall so much. I haven’t been able to start another book yet that I’m super in love with. I quit reading one last night because it didn’t compare. πŸ™‚

January 19, 2012 - 1:04 pm

Magan - Mands, I’m sad you didn’t like Mara Dyer. I always get really nervous when there’s lots of hype about a book. I hope I love it!

January 16, 2012 - 8:23 pm

Mands - Great IMM! I didn’t like Mara Dyer, after all the hype it let me down big time but I would like to read Across the Universe.

January 16, 2012 - 3:27 pm

April Books & Wine - I shall forever love the library!

Before I Fall is SO good. I’m glad that you are loving it so far. And yes, have tissues handy.

January 15, 2012 - 9:52 pm

Alison - Great set! Before I Fall is so wonderful. I really want to read Wanderlove.

January 15, 2012 - 6:59 pm

Heather Rosdol - I LOVED Daughter of Smoke and Bone, too!! It’s one of my favorites.

I got Dying to Know You and just sort of tested it out (I have a few to read before I get to it) and it’s really good!

Have fun reading!!

January 15, 2012 - 6:34 pm

Brittani - Awesome IMM Magan! Your library has Before We Fall? I’m jealous. I’ve been wanting to read it but neither of the libraries I go to have a copy. Mara Dyer is amazing!!! I really enjoyed that book! I have Across The Universe checked out from the library currently too! Lol. Enjoy all your books! πŸ™‚

Ginger @ GReads! - Magan! You are so super cute!! πŸ™‚ Loved “seeing” your face, hehe. I feel like I am one of the last people to read Across the Universe. I bought it a year ago & it’s been sitting on my shelf. I know, bad me!
