Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - Oh awesome! So happy to see a review for this one. I just saw all the hype but not one person who had read it yet. It sounds interesting! Glad it know it’s a bit more… emotional than scary thriller. I think I’ll add it to my list! 🙂

Asheley Tart (@BookwormAsheley) - I love Victoria Dahl! I obviously haven’t started this series but wouldn’t hesitate to. Also I love the covers of her books. This sounds FUN and like something I would LOVE.

August 7, 2014 - 11:02 am

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - I finally read my first Fool’s Gold book (Chasing Perfect) not too long ago, and it was a really fun read. Do you have a favorite in the series? I liked Chasing Perfect but I wasn’t madly in love either.

I am very curious about the relationship between Jack and Larissa in this one. I am always a sucker for best friend turn lovers romance.

But you had me at Southern charm and finding out secrets! I really do want to read this now, even with a title that kind of threw me off when I first saw it 😉

Calla - I also really loved Lauren’s family, especially Rachel, and how we get to know each and every one of them. I love what you said about seeing how one marriage impacts an entire family. I hear you about wanting to know whether they’ll be able to work it out or not – at points I thought it would be impossible and then something happened and I’d have a different opinion – it really kept me on my toes!

August 12, 2014 - 12:52 pm

Cassie - I FINISHED THIS SUNDAY. I just can’t even with how amazing it is. It sent me through an emotional roller coaster and I was in pieces [happy pieces!] at the end. Taylor has solidified herself on my auto buy list! NOW.. to wait for the next book she writes will be EXCRUCIATING! THANKS TO U AND HANNAH FOR MAKING ME PUSH THIS UP ON MY LIST!

July 28, 2014 - 11:25 am

Tiff @ Mostly YA Lit - Jamie wrote about this on her blog, and I had to skip over to your review to read about it. It was the title that got me – my husband and I have been married for a year and it’s been really hard, so I think I might NEED this book right now. You sold me when you said that Lauren stayed put and just started reconnecting with herself…and with your reference to Jessica Darling =)

Putting this on hold at the library now. Thanks!

July 21, 2014 - 9:26 pm

Alexa S. - Gosh, but AFTER I DO was amazing! It was my first experience with Reid’s writing, and I’m happy to say that I fell head over heels in love with it. I really liked how she tackled Ryan and Lauren’s situation, and how she managed to colonize Lauren’s life with such great supporting characters. SO GOOD.

July 21, 2014 - 9:51 am

Meg - I’ve seen this one around, but yours is the first review that’s actually tempted me to give it a try. I guess being so newly into my own marriage, I haven’t been eager to read about the troubles of another, haha, but Reid sounds like a great writer!
