Just a quick note before we launch into this week’s meme. This week has been quite a whirlwind in the blogging community when it was leaked that Kristi a.k.a. The Story Siren plagiarized work from another blog. This is an offense that Magan and I take very seriously, as we both work in fields were plagiarism would greatly affect our jobs and our well-beings. While we both acknowledge how much Kristi has done for the YA blogging community, it is a professional decision and not a reflection of anything personal that we will no longer take part in In My Mailbox. After much discussion, Magan and I settled on using our own meme called “Shelve It” to discuss various bookish happenings during the week.
And now on with the show…
Yes. I talk Bieber and my cat meows in the background. Get excited!

Estelle - M, You already beat me to reading Lonely Hearts Club. haha. :-/ But you did introduce me to the “recommended by” feature on GR that might make my brain work better. So thanks for that. xo
Estelle - Sash, ha! I have Looking for Alaska to read as well. Maybe I’ll read them back to back? Thanks for the suggestion!
Estelle - Paige! Thanks for stopping in! I had a fun time looking at your blog and listening to your vlog. I read Face on a Milk Carton a really long time ago and I liked it a lot… in fact it is one of the only books I have successfully gotten my younger sister to read too. Did you ever see the TV movie? It’s one of my favorites. haha.
Paige - If you were only going to read a few Dystopians you should definately try Divergent because it’s so so good! I just finished reading The Summer I Turned Pretty so I can’t wait to get my hands on It’s Not Summer Without You. Thou Shalt Not Road Trip looks really good! I hope you enjoy everything and here’s my IMM!

Great, there goes my paycheck!
I also decided to “follow my own star” in regard to all the drama, and created my own meme, Mission: Acquired. I hope you’ll stop by and check out my goodies

VeganYANerds - Haha, I laughed when you said “basically I’m a liar” because I am always saying I’m on a book ban but then I go out and buy more books!
Great haul this week, Estelle! I love the Summer series and the bonus letters sound interesting!
Also I need The Lonely Hearts Club, I love anything with a Beatles theme, must buy asap!
Eva, The Book Stoner - SO glad to know where you and Magan stand regarding the plagiarism issue. I already love your blog but now I love it even more
Every book in the world will also come out May 1st. LOTS of them! Haha!
Great haul!
Sash from Sash and Em - AHH! So much goodness!
1. Anything written by Elizabeth Eulberg rockkks.

haha I hope you love Lonely Hearts Club! Also, Lovestruck Summer is a good one as well. And yay for Where Things Come Back!!!!!!!!! gosh I love that book.
P.S. I needed the Conrad goodness in my life, too
Jess @ Gone with the Words - I’m glad you loved Somebody to Love..but I’m also glad I didn’t know that Beebs song because I would’ve hated it being stuck in my head, lol. Also, I really hope you like Divergent!!! Eeeeep! And, oh boy, I need to get my hands on those letters in We’ll Always Have Summer! Enjoy your books!!
Estelle - Elena, hahaha. It was quite a bonus to read the book with JB stuck in my head. Really. Definitely get into Jenny Han’s summer series like… this summer. I can’t wait to hear what songs you come up with to go along with them!
elena - As soon as you mentioned Justin Bieber, I had to go on Spotify and put him on! I don’t know how I will get through that book without “I JUST NEED SOMEBODY TO LOOOOVE” constantly refraining in my head. I really want to read Enchanted so I hope it’s good! I love fairytales. :3 I’m excited for the new series on the blog you guys have planned! I hope you like Divergent too, it’s one of the better dystopians, I think. I really need to properly read Jenny Han books.
