Magan: Shelve It — August 26, 2012

weekly feature focusing on the books we bought, borrowed, and received from publishers

Howdy, y’all! It’s officially the beginning of my birthday week. And I’m rocking out some new glasses (yep, I look like a nerd!) and sharing lots of goodies with you. I just HAD to get out of the house (I was going stir crazy) so I filmed my vlog outside today. Please forgive the crazy bangs and bursts of wind.

Yay, birthday month (August is the BEST birthday month!) So of course you should treat yourself to books!

I’m excited for you to read Graffiti Moon, I hope (and think) that you will like it!

Love the new glasses, hun! xox

  2. Ginger @ GReads! says:

You are so not a nerd.. I love your glasses! I can’t wait for you to read Shiver. I have a feeling you’re going to love Maggie’s words. Ahhh such great stuff.

  3. April Books & Wine says:

Ahhhh. There is so much winning involved here. Like okay, I love me some Shiver and Tamora Pierce and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. And Graffiti Moon.

Sigh. SO MUCH GOOD TASTE I LOVE IT!

  4. Lena says:

LOOOVE your new glasses. It totally makes your bright blue eyes stand out.

You are going to love, love, love Graffiti Moon. I wish I could hug it. I mean, umm…yeah, that’s what I meant.

    LOVE YOU!

  5. Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books says:

I am exploding with happiness over your Shelve It this week. There is just TOO MUCH goodness for me to handle!

    1. SHIVER – Oh, how I love Maggie. She’s one of my favorite authors EVER, because I find her writing lyrical and beautiful and different from most authors I read. Love this book (though I’m not as big a fan of the two that come after it!)

    2. GRAFFITI MOON – It’s a must read. Seriously. I read it in less than a day, and read it again, and I loved it. I don’t have my own actual copy (I read it through NetGalley), but I’m definitely planning on getting it.

    3. CIRCLE OF MAGIC – YES. This is SO GOOD. I LOVE this series. It’s Macky’s favorite series, out of all of Tamora’s series, so that definitely says a lot, don’t you think?

    4. STAT – Love. This is such a cute book.

I have yet to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, but I swear I’m going to do that soon!!

You look great by the way, and the glasses are fab 🙂
