Magan: WeVerb12: Prompt 9 (2012 Challenges)

Hi friends! Estelle and I are going to be chiming in this month about WEverb12 every now and then. We hope you’ll stop over at the website and check it out for yourself. Alexa Y. - Finding a balance between social life & blogging life & wedding planning is still a bit of an experiment for me. There’s always something going on for all of these things (and sometimes, simultaneously) that one of them usually ends up getting neglected. I love all three too much to give them up though, so I guess I’m just hoping I can find the right mix!

Hemborgwife - My husband and I have a system where I do the dishes Mon-Thur and he does Fri-Sun but on Monday’s I am always finding dishes in the wrong cupboards or on shelves so high I cannot reach which makes me wonder how he thinks I got them down to use in the first place!

Brie @ Eat Books - For me, this is the hardest part about blogging – finding balance. I’m also really good at “wasting” time, and this doesn’t help in the whole balance thing. I’m continually impressed and amazed at bloggers who not only run a consistent (and often daily) blog, but who also have small children! I only have a hubby and fur-baby, but they sure keep me busy! 🙂 Thankfully, hubby is super supportive about the blog and understands it’s important to me, but I still feel guilty if I do blog things in the evenings. I couldn’t imagine also trying to work from home! BUT, I am not very self-motivated in the mornings, so I know for me, working from home would not be ideal 🙂 Unless my work involved lots of coffee drinking and blog reading haha.

Azara - Definitely! My blog is just for fun rather than a business, but it’s completely addictive and I’m always reading/writing posts when I should be doing something else.

Henry Circle - Nail on the head! You are not alone. Between blogging on my two blogs and promoting them and my book, I am spent. That takes up every drop of free time. I have to make sure I schedule in time for parenting, husband stuff, household duties, etc. Then, I have to find time to read so I’ll have something to blog about! I can’t imagine having a career on top of it! But, like you, I love it too much to cease and desist. I’ve promised myself to spend more time in the gym and less on the computer. I’ll just have to get audio books to listen to on the treadmill! Great post!
