Andrew - I just started reading YA last year, but A.S. King is already my favorite author, and Vera Dietz probably my favorite book (I gotta re-read Everybody Sees the Ants before I officially decide). Thanks for an enjoyable review.

Alexa Y. - I’ve never read a book by this author, but this one just jumped out at me because of your wonderful review. I love that it is a book about friendship, and the ups and downs that go with it. It also appears to be a book about grief and dealing with death. It’s a good combination and sounds like a great story! I’ll definitely have to remember to check it out.

Amy @ bookgoonie - I loved it too. It was my first AS King. I look forward to reading & listening to many more. It had great balance. Just a regular girl, going through typical things plus a twist.

Bookworm1858 - I had so much trouble reading this book-it was just too dark and intense when I actually wanted a more comedic story. I don’t think I fully appreciated its power.

Amanda @ Late Nights with Good Books - Wonderful review! I actually haven’t read any A.S. King yet, but I’m hoping to soon. This sounds like a pretty dark book, so perhaps I’ll wait to read it for a little bit, until I’m in a certain mood to handle it. But I have heard the most praise of this one, so I think this will be the one that I start with!
