Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - I was totally thinking Michael Caine too, combined with Tim Gunn for some reason haha. But I love the Dumbledore vibe too! I love Angelo. He is so my favorite.
I just love these books! They’re so much fun and light but at the same time, serious and full of meaningful relationships. I’m a Robin Benway fan, for sure.

Judith - Everyone keeps saying how this book is (much) better than Also Known As, and that makes me so curious! I liked AKA enough, but it was missing something for me as well. The fact that this takes place in Paris (maybe my favorite place in the world) is great, and I’m so glad that Benway did not disappoint with this sequel. Can’t wait to read this!

Bookworm1858 - I kept feeling like Angelo was going to turn out to be a traitor-he just seems a little too good to be true to me. I like the Dumbledore comparison though as he was on the cryptic side to us readers as well.

Sara (of The Page Sage) - Angelo IS like Dumbledore!! He is seriously one of my favorite characters in the series, though they’re all phenomenal.

Maggie @ Just a Couple More Pages - At this point I kind of feel like Robin Benway can do no wrong, I never expected to love this one as much as I loved AKA, but like you I totally did. I really like your points about how good of a job she does with secondary characters. In my review I talked about how even though so many of the situations Maggie finds herself in are pretty out there the way she feels and the way the characters interact is so relateable to just normal life and I feel like that’s all tied together.

Alexa S. - It makes me happy that you enjoyed Going Rogue too! It was such a great follow-up to Also Known As, and I loved learning more about these characters and meeting a few new ones, as well. I have to say though, your assessment of Angelo as being like Dumbledore? GOOD CALL.

Nicole - Lovely review! So glad to hear that Going Rogue is just as strong as Also Known As. I am looking forward to more spy work and since I love this set of characters, I’m happy to hear that they shine in this book! I’ll probably be reading this next 🙂

Lucy - Love this series! Glad you’re a fan too. Such a great cast of characters, and I like the Angelo/Dumbledore comparison!

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - I really liked Going Rogue, although it didn’t quite stand out as much as Also Known As did to me. I do love the characters, though, and you are so right – Benway does such an amazing job with not only the primary characters, but the secondary ones as well.

I defintiely picture Angelo as looking like Michael Caine. And I can see you Dumbeldore comparisons, definitely.

Glad you liked this, Estelle.
