Alexa S. - You and I should watch a Broadway show together at some point, I think. But, even more importantly, I still think you need to educate me about beer! I do drink beer more than mixed drinks, but I’m definitely a newbie at drinking locally.

Amy - Yes, I agree that Daniel Radcliffe is amazing live on stage…I saw him in NYC when he was doing Equus. And I’d love to see If/Then…I love Idina Menzel so, so much.

Tiff @ Mostly YA Lit - The shows! I’m definitely going to If/Then, I don’t care what it costs! Also, I may check out Violet.

I’m not into beer, but I like good pubs, so I’ll see you guys at some of these. I’m staying in DUMBO, so I’m sure I’ll be able to find something there…

May 5, 2014 - 9:51 am

Andi - The New York Beer Company is only an 11 minute walk from the hotel I’m staying at. This excites me muchly!

May 4, 2014 - 10:04 pm

Wendy @ Book Scents - Ohh beer! I think the NY Beer Company is closest to where we’re staying (we’re staying close to the Javits). Definitely want to check it out! I also want to catch a broadway show while I”m there!

Asheley (@BookwormAsheley) - OH LOOK BEER I WANT SOME.
Also, I’ve really wanted to see Of Mice and Men because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steinbeck. But I haven’t let myself look it up at all so I may be completely wrong about it even being in NYC. But yes, that is what I would pick if I could go to a show. Probably. Maybe.

May 4, 2014 - 9:13 am

Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - HMMMMMM Draught 55 is a five minute walk from our hotel!!! I think I may need to visit it. We didn’t get to do any nice NY brews last year and it’s something I really want to be able to do this year! Beer date??

Alexa Y. - You know, growing up, I was raised to believe that I was going to be a mixed drinks kind of girl when I started drinking alcohol. But since moving the US and trying out beers, I’ve found I’m hooked. I’m now that girl who will probably have a beer in hand in lieu of a mixed drink or some wine lol. Just putting that out there 😉

Great suggestions! I have to try Beer Authority sometime 🙂

Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - Oh girl, I looooove craft beer. When we visit Colorado, we make a point of visiting the local craft breweries. Now I just need to find someone to go with me to these wonderful places you’ve mentioned because my friends are not beer drinkers! Haha.
