VeganYANerds - I’ve never heard of this until now but it sounds really interesting, thanks to your review (I’m sure if I read the blurb I might not have thought so!)

It sounds like there’s a lot going on but you sold me when you mentioned the chemistry!

Mary @ mysistersbookshelf - So this fits so well with lots of things I’ve been reading lately! I recommended Juliet by Anne Fortier (do you know that? if you liked this you might like it!) and then I did not love When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serles. And I was somewhere in the middle on Ruby Red (yay time travel). In other words, this book looks like a perfect storm for me 🙂

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - Aaaah, a Shakespeare book! Seriously, I’m a sucker for anything that involves Shakespeare or takes inspiration from Shakespeare so I *might* check out this book – if I have the time to. It sounds pretty interesting, and the religion bit doesn’t bother me as much (although that may change if I read it!). Great review!

Kailia @ Reading the Best of the Best - Great review. I’m not sure I’ll be picking this up; though it sounds like my cup of tea, I’m just not sure about this one! Glad to know it wasn’t all that bad. Hahaha, yeah, I remember Anne Hathaway.

elena - YES I DO REMEMBER ANNE HATHAWAY! Especially since she was like, his younger cousin?! I don’t think this book sounds like my cup of tea (esp the virginity thing and religious aspects) BUT the chemistry is promising. Fantastic review, Estelle! x

Pam Mingle - Hi Estelle,

Thanks for your thoughtful review of Kissing Shakespeare. I appreciate that you took the time to understand the various aspects of the book!

Great blog, BTW. Mine has been sadly neglected lately!

Tara - This TOTALLY sounds like an Estelle book! I’m glad to hear that even though it starts out slow, it picks up and some hot chemistry is involved. You have me sold 🙂
