Alexa Y. - What I love most about your thoughts on The Returned is that it really sounds like the book made a strong impression on you. I love it when a book tackles concepts like this one, as it stands out and makes it even more appealing.

April Books & Wine - I just got an email about the Returned but have been kind of hesitant because it’s a ‘big kids book’ and I am trying to take less of those on for review. BUT OMG THEN YOU MENTION SOBBING and I am like okay, I need to read this, because I am all about getting an emotional reaction while reading.

Also, the concept is interesting — I have been lucky enough to not lose any people, but if I could bring my dog Benji back for a game of fetch or something, I totally would.

Sounds like it also doesn’t turn into a zombie book, either which in this case is a good thing.

Charlotte @ Gypsy Reviews - Been hearing a lot about this book and I’m curious about it so I’m glad you loved it Estelle 🙂 I like that this made you think and evoked a lot of emotion. I’m definitely going to check this out when I can!

Bookworm1858 - I just read about this in People Magazine and was wondering if it was any good. I don’t read a lot of adult books and this isn’t one I’d normally pick up but I love the sound of its emotional power-I mean, to get you crying on the subway platform? That is a moment that packs a punch!

Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads - I requested this one on Netgalley, but I wasn’t approved. It sounds interesting though, and now that I know you liked it, Estelle, I’ll definitely have to look for a copy!
