April Books & Wine - Live Through This is utterly amazing and I felt all of the things while reading and actually was so anxious I had to skip ahead and read the ending. Ugh, so so fantastic.

You are in for amazing reading, especially with the books borrowed from Ginger. <33333

November 18, 2012 - 10:33 pm

Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life - Eep, you got Reached! I really want to get that one- I am SO curious to see how the trilogy ends, even if I wasn’t the biggest fan of Crossed, or even Matched for that matter. But I feel like this book has a ridiculous amount of potential to be completely amazing, and I can’t wait to read it! Too bad I’m basically broke and my lame-o library won’t get it. :/ Also, I have only heard amazing things about Graffiti Moon! Your Internet staring is scaring me, I think I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of this one. 😉

Enjoy all your lovelies Magan! <3

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - I am exploding with happiness over your Shelve It this week. There is just TOO MUCH goodness for me to handle!

1. SHIVER – Oh, how I love Maggie. She’s one of my favorite authors EVER, because I find her writing lyrical and beautiful and different from most authors I read. Love this book (though I’m not as big a fan of the two that come after it!)

2. GRAFFITI MOON – It’s a must read. Seriously. I read it in less than a day, and read it again, and I loved it. I don’t have my own actual copy (I read it through NetGalley), but I’m definitely planning on getting it.

3. CIRCLE OF MAGIC – YES. This is SO GOOD. I LOVE this series. It’s Macky’s favorite series, out of all of Tamora’s series, so that definitely says a lot, don’t you think?

4. STAT – Love. This is such a cute book.

I have yet to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, but I swear I’m going to do that soon!!

You look great by the way, and the glasses are fab 🙂

August 28, 2012 - 12:04 pm

Lena - LOOOVE your new glasses. It totally makes your bright blue eyes stand out.

You are going to love, love, love Graffiti Moon. I wish I could hug it. I mean, umm…yeah, that’s what I meant.

LOVE YOU!

April Books & Wine - Ahhhh. There is so much winning involved here. Like okay, I love me some Shiver and Tamora Pierce and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. And Graffiti Moon.

Sigh. SO MUCH GOOD TASTE I LOVE IT!

August 27, 2012 - 9:44 pm

Paige - I read The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight a month or two ago and I really enjoyed it! I hope you enjoy everything you got this week =)

Lori - It must be something in the water! I haven’t read one book by an Aussie writer that I didn’t LOVE. Everything Melina Marchetta touches is brilliant. I still need to read Raw Blue and I have Love and Other Perishable Things waiting on me. I can’t wait to read them.

August 24, 2012 - 2:51 am

Kristen - It seems the market is being flooded with books written by Australians. I’m definitely excited about that because I’ve heard nothing but praise for all of them! I’m SO excited to read Melina Marchetta. Haven’t read anything by her yet, but it’s very high on my list. The Laura Buzo books sound really good too. 🙂

elena - Oh my, I LOVE this post! It looks so nice and like everyone else, I’m in total agreement for the love of Aussie authors! Melina Marchetta <3 <3 <3 Another Aussie author I quite like is Shirley Marr, she's so sweet and has a wonderful personality.

August 23, 2012 - 5:14 pm

VeganYANerds - I seriously love how much international readers love Aussie books! I feel very lucky to live here and have access to them and I am always more than happy to send them overseas because I know how much they will be appreciated by readers like you, Magan! I hope you enjoy HTT and ISYM as well as Raw Blue & Graff Moon :

August 23, 2012 - 12:16 pm

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - I love this post SO MUCH. So far, I’ve only read Graffiti Moon and Jellicoe Road – but you can be sure I’m looking forward to reading many, many more books by Aussie authors!

August 23, 2012 - 10:40 am

Anna - I just did a post on Aussie writers too — there are SO MANY good ones it’s gotta be a conspiracy! I adore all the ones I’ve read above that you listed…and can’t wait to get my hands on the rest!

August 23, 2012 - 9:53 am

Katie w/ Mundie Moms - What an awesome post! I love that you’re featuring authors from various countries. There are seriously amazing authors in our smallish book world that deserve far more recognition than they get. Fabulous post!

August 23, 2012 - 9:11 am

April Books & Wine - I really need more Aussie books and more reads by Melina Marchetta in my life!

I love this post and these recommendations 🙂

August 23, 2012 - 8:52 am

Ginger @ GReads! - This was the best blog post to see first thing in the morning b/c I too, have a serious love affair with Aussie writers. They are just.. just so dang GOOD. I swear there is something in the water over there. I love that you love The Piper’s Son as much as me. That book is seriously among my top 5 OF ALL TIME. I really need to sit down and read Jellicoe Road. Laura Buzo: YES PLEASE! I adored Love & Other Perishable Items. I can’t wait to post my review for it!

I just ordered Raw Blue & am SO EXCITED for a re-read of that one. Oh man, I can NOT wait for you to read it. I’m putting that one in my top 5, too.

LOVE this post Magan, SO MUCH.
