An Interview With Author Laura Nowlin

Happy Friday, friends! This morning I was so excited to share my review of If He Had Been With Me by Laura Nowlin. I couldn’t stop myself from prattling on about the million and a half reasons I loved Laura’s story. It’s lovely and so beautifully written — I just wish I had a smidgeon […]

Laura Nowlin - Magan, your questions were so well thought out and interesting! And your review is making me blush! I’m so glad RBR was the first stop on my blog tour.

Magan - Aneeqah, I’m so glad! You should definitely read If He Had Been With Me. Absolutely! Don’t be nervous for what happens. Really, the writing is just so dang good. I completely agree — love that true love was depicted instead of something that’s overly romanticized. Thanks for stopping by!

Alexa, I loved reading her answers too. I re-wrote my questions about 50 million times because I just had so many to ask. I loved the book so much! So glad you’ve added it to your TBR!

Lisa, YAY! I am so glad! I loved that too — that the story was more than just a story for Laura. I love how personal it was. Whoa, buddy. Read it soon, please?

Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life - This interview is making me even more exited to pick this novel up!! I’m already nervous for the tragic ending that at’s the end, and I love how emotionally conflicted the author was when she sat down to write the scene. I can only imagine how hard it was! This romance also sounds so authentic, and I love how the author tried to show what true love is.

Fantastic interview, you two! I can’t wait to pick this one up now! <3

Alexa Y. - I loved reading what Laura had to say about her book. It really, really sounds like a book I’d want to read – and it’s already been added to my TBR 😉

Lisa [is busy nerding] - What a great interview! You can tell you loved the book from the questions (and from the adoration statements, ofc) but hearing Laura’s responses and her deep connection with the story and characters makes me want to read this all the more! Hooray!
