Mands - We don’t have anything like majorettes here in Aussie high schools but I still really enjoyed this book.

I enjoyed it so much that I was also sneakily reading it at work, trying to finish it 😉

Estelle - What can I say to that, Ms. Jennifer Echols? Thank YOU so much for writing books that distract me from work. My boss also thanks you. 🙂

Estelle - Tights?! They wouldn’t let us wear tights ever. Even on the coldest nights. They didn’t like the way it looked. So we were pretty bad ass. I do like the sparkle idea though. 🙂 Hope you will definitely check out the book. Brought back some great (and not so great haha) memories for me! Thanks for stopping by Jenny!

Estelle - Thanks Anni! Good point about the majorettes being the popular ones! Now I just want to the band geeks to reign in ONE book. Just one. 🙂

Anni - Love your majorette smile. 🙂 We didn’t have them at my school, maybe because it was on the small side? Either way, it’s refreshing to see a group besides cheerleaders lauded as popular.

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - This book sounds like it’ll be an interesting read! We didn’t have any majorettes at our school, but I’m sure if we did, I’d have thought it was pretty cool. 🙂

Jenny - I was a majorette too! Unfortunately they retired the tall boots the year I started so we had to wear plain white keds, socks, and sparkly nude pantyhose with our wool dress. Not quite as fun, but still good memories! The book sounds good; I will have to check it out!

Jennifer Echols - You are adorable.
