HoliDIY: Book Cover Inspired Holiday Cards

Eee! I’ve been so excited to share this post with you for a year. A YEAR.

So today here it is. This whole project was one of those happy accidents. You see… I planned on making a book cover-inspired card for Magan as part of her Christmas present and I did. And then, I thought what if I did made this for this person and what if I did that for another? It kind of spun out of control from there, and I found myself two days before Christmas, sitting on my floor with wine, tons of art supplies, and Love Actually playing in the background. Oh, and I stayed up until 3 a.m.

Crafting cards has always been a therapeutic hobby for me so coming up with an idea, seeing if it actually works out, and having a finished product to give to someone? It’s one tinsel-riffic feeling. (Yes, I really said that.)

Before I prep my living room for another artsy explosion or two, I’m getting into the spirit and posting the cards I crafted last year. I hope you get a kick out of them!
