Daphne - I have read some Jenny Colgan in the past and loved her (Talking to Addison and others). I think I may have to pick this up.

Jamie - Not going to lie..if I saw this randomly I probably would have never picked it up — mostly the cover haha. BUT I’m digging this whole laid off storyline since well I can relate. MAYBE THIS IS MY LIFE CALLING…to open a bakery? Probably NOT because I can’t bake but this sounds fun and something maybe I can relate to..just in not letting it all get me down and forging my own path in the midst of a setback!

Also, sidenote, I love when books include “extras” like recipes and such!

Alexa Y. - This book sounds all sorts of adorable! I’d definitely want to check it out, if only because it sounds like the perfect cute + light read ๐Ÿ™‚

Jen @ Pop! Goes The Reader - This novel sounds like such a fun, cute contemporary read that would be the perfect choice for a summer afternoon ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve always loved stories that involve food in some way, particularly baked goods (Go figure!) so I love the concept of this novel. Who doesn’t love cupcakes? I can’t wait to read this one, although it might prove disastrous to my waist line. This was an absolutely lovely review, as always, Estelle ๐Ÿ™‚

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - Is the book you were talking about at dinner with the character in love with John Cusack?

Anyway, this seems like a good summer read. Lately, all I’ve been able to really handle is lighter contemp romances, both teen and adult.

Thanks for the review.

Asheley Tart (@BookwormAsheley) - This does sound really cute! I love it when there are recipes included although I have to admit I’ve never actually tried any of the recipes I’ve come across (I just like to read them).

Rachel @ hello, chelly. - This book sounds so cute! And I love that she included recipes too. It’s been a while since I’ve baked.. so maybe this book will inspire me to start up again ๐Ÿ™‚
