Hannah @ So Obsessed With - Estelle, I love that your goal is to read 100 books, even though you read 160 this last year. I made mine 100 books, too, for similar reasons. I want to read more classics, as well as re-read, and don’t want to get so caught up in my goal that I stop enjoying what I’m reading.

Magan, I love your goal about sharing and passing along books. I need to get better at this! I’m terrible at sharing books that I love because I’ve had many experiences where I never get the books back. HOWEVER, I love the idea of passing along books I enjoyed but don’t necessarily want to keep. What a great way to keep myself from hoarding books and hopefully spread the book love!

And both of you ladies, yay for the resolutions to “think long and hard before I buy a book” and “give myself a book budget” I’m trying to do the same thing this year. Honestly, I’m really trying to limit myself to only buying a book if I plan on immediately read it. I don’t want to go on a complete book ban, but I really do want to get my book spending under control.

Alexa Y. - Happy New Year to both of you girls! I’m so glad that I was able to spend time with you both (in person too!), and I’m very glad indeed for the friendships we share. 2013 will be even more remarkable than 2012, I’m sure!

E: I am totally with you on your #2. I need to stop buying books without really thinking about if I want them or need them in my personal collection. A lot of my money in 2012 went to books, and I would like that to change in 2013! Also, I’m totally in agreement about #5 – I need more blog ideas!

M: #3 – I hope you go to Annual – I’m thinking of attending that instead of BEA. It would be awesome to hang out! And #6, I feel the same way!

Lots of love girls xo

Lori - Good luck with your goals, ladies! I definitely need to pass on some books as well. I don’t know how I get so many! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lisa the Nerd - I’m with you on those lightbulbs, E!

M, keep on with the sharing and suggestions!

April Books & Wine - YES! Go to BEA! I want to meet at least one of you. ๐Ÿ˜€

I bet you both can easily hit 100 books.

Decluttering is the best, I hope to pass along plenty of books as well in 2013.

Happy happy new year, y’all.

Stormy - I really like the goal of setting a book budget–allows you to still buy books without overbuying. I always tell myself I won’t buy anymore books until I read X number of books, but that never works because sales and deals always come along and I can’t pass them up, so then I go on a book buying binge.

Leoni - I can suggest The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson and Moira Young for the author list.
Happy new year! ๐Ÿ™‚
