Alexa S. - Ah, novellas. I don’t normally read them, but I do make exceptions! I haven’t read This Summer yet, but I’m intrigued by This Christmas. It’s always interesting for me to read about a couple facing REAL struggles, and that’s what this sounds like!

Brianna - I’m not a huge fan of novellas, but it seems like so many of the Christmas stories are. I wonder why that is?

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - I do like novellas, especially around Christmas time (no idea why that is), but they can be tricky to pull off, I think. I’m glad you enjoyed this.

Jess @ Gone with the Words - I love novellas for that same reason! And they help me catch up on my GR challenge goal. 😀 This sounds really cute and I may just have to buy it. Thanks, Magan!

Alexa S. - I LOVE when it feels like an author is writing about something that you’ve personally experience! So I think it’s great that you found that type of connection with This Summer. And might I just say that I LOVE that this is a summery read! I used to dream of being a camp counselor when I was a teen, so I think I’d definitely want to read this.

Asheley (@BookwormAsheley) - M, I love your connection with this book. I haven’t heard of it, but it sounds like a fun story!

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - It’s so weird when you read a book and so many of the events makes you think of your life. That happened to me when I read Fangirl. Cath, particularly, reminded me so much of myself, especially as a college freshman, that it almost got to be too much. It was like looking at my life and seeing all the things I should have done differently.

Anyway, I’m glad you liked this. I love summer romancy reads, but I’m not sure if I would like this.
