Hannah @ So Obsessed With - I love Jane Austen, but I’m on the fence about this one. I hate to hear about the slow pace and lack of dialogue, so I’ll probably just keep an eye out for it at my library. If I see it, great. If not, oh well. There are so many so/so books inspired by Austen, and this sounds like it kind of falls into that territory.

Kristen Evey - First of all, LOL at Elena’s comment!^ I don’t think I really need to add anything. Except, of course, that the perfect guy is not Ryan Gosling. I used to think so, until I started watching Korean dramas. Now, well, Ryan isn’t looking so hot anymore.

ANYways, about the book, yes? This sounds, maybe interesting? I dunno. Too much stuff going on in the book could irritate me. But Ethan definitely sounds intriguing and I do love me some Jane Austen. Maybe I should just read Austen though. In any case, great review as always. 🙂

elena - UM HELLO THE PERFECT GUY DOES EXIST AND HIS NAME IS RYAN GOSLING! Also I’m not sure why but I find this line very amusing, “mysterious journal that Cate finds at a taco place.” Ethan sounds like a hottie with a body. This sounds like a fun book overall!

Alexa Y. - This sounds like a pretty fun book, but the mishmash of elements does sound a bit overwhelming. While I have read and enjoyed Austen, I don’t consider myself a major fan – but I could probably still enjoy this book 🙂

Cynthia - YESSS!!! A novel set in Austin!! I might read this one just for that. I love that city! =D I’m ashamed to admit that I’m not an Austen fan yet, since I haven’t read any of her books but I’m always intrigued by those novels that have something to do with Austen, so I’ll be adding this one to my list, and hopefully read an Austen novel sometime soon. =)

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - Gosh, I love Jane Austen. I definitely need to look into these books. I have Me and Mr. Darcy that I want to read soon.

April Books & Wine - I love the premise of Austensibly Ordinary, but too many subplots annoy me. So, instead I think I’ll actually try to read some more actual Jane Austen (I just re-read P&P via audio last week and watched the 1995 miniseries — good life choice.)
