Alexa Y. - Hercules has always been one of my favorite Disney films. I love Greek mythology because of it (most likely, anyway) and I enjoy the soundtrack of that film a LOT. (I’m still obsessed with Go the Distance). I even used to play the game on PS1!

Anyway. I read this book last weekend. It was pretty cute, even if I did think that the balance of contemporary and mythology could have been done better and a few things felt too rushed. My review’s coming up at some point, so there will be more detail on that there. I did like it enough to be entertained though 🙂

VeganYANerds - And now I want to watch Hercules!

I really like the sound of Sophie and while I too don’t read too many non-contemps, I think this might be a book I’d like!

Estelle - I’m going to have to check that out! I haven’t heard of it + there are never enough quirky characters to go around. 😉 Have a good weekend Kelly!

Kelly - I really enjoyed Sam Cruz’s Infallible Guide to Getting Girls, so I was pretty excited to see a new series from the same author. The things you liked about this – the quirky protagonist and great chemistry – are things I loved about SCIGtGG so hopefully I enjoy this one too!

Bookworm1858 - You’re not the only one-I love Hercules! It’s actually one of my favorite movies of all-time and my most favorite Disney film. I quote it all the time.
