The time travel tale focuses on Miranda, an aspiring actress, who is roped into going back in time to help save Shakespeare from making a decision that could change the world as we know it. Author Pam Mingle […]

Caitlin - I would have to say Salvador Dali, just because I can imagine the crazy things we could talk about.

August 20, 2012 - 8:49 pm

Sara (of the Page Sage) - I’d be torn between F. Scott Fitzgerald and Jane Austen. They’re both brilliant writers and to get to speak to them for even a moment would be amazing!

Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl - Love this post! If I could go back in time, I’d meet Michelangelo! I was in Florence, Italy in May and got to see the original David. And I saw the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Rome in April! That man was a total genius. I’d LOVE to take art lessons from him and discuss his methods. Heck, sitting and watching him for hours would be enough for me!

kala - I would have to pick my favorite painter, Lee Krasner, her work is so amazing!

August 17, 2012 - 10:19 pm

Nisha - This book sounds great! Can’t wait to read it! If I could meet anyone I would have to say Amelia Earhart – I’ve always had this interest in her and her story.

August 17, 2012 - 10:56 am

Elizabeth - Would love to read this!
I would have to say I would love to go back in time to meet Eleanor Roosevelt. If for nothing else, then good quotes. 😉

Sharon @ Fictionally Inclined - Great guest post! This made me even more excited to read Kissing Shakespeare. Which is saying something because I love the cover, Shakespeare, and romance. So, really, this book has been calling to me for a while now. 🙂

As for the question, I don’t know! It’s difficult because there are so many choices. I think I would like to meet Cleopatra, simply because I’ve been fascinated by her since I was a little girl and read her Royal Diary upwards of 10 times.

Kristen - Oh, this book sounds SO fun! I haven’t heard of this one yet. Great guest post! 🙂

I would want to meet/be best friends with Jane Austen if I were to go back in time.

Emilia S. - I would actually love to meet Nicholas Flamel. I am really curious to what information and stories he has to offer. I think I would want to get to know him more.

Thanks for the giveaway :)!

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - Thank you Pam for this awesome guest post! It’s definitely a pleasure hearing a little bit more about Kissing Shakespeare – I honestly can’t wait to read it.

K. Bo Baron - Great post! If I could go back in time I would want to meet Jane Austen! She is one of my faves! I really want to read Kissing Shakespeare!

August 15, 2012 - 11:11 am

Kim - I would want to meet William Shakespeare and ask him how he came up with all his plays.

August 15, 2012 - 5:19 am

VeganYANerds - I really love reading about how authors come up with their stories and it was interesting reading about Pam changed her story – it really sounds lovely, I remember your review 🙂

August 14, 2012 - 9:21 pm

Cari Bella - I have several people I’d love to go back and meet – Joan of Arc, Emily Dickinson, Tennyson, and so many authors. It would be so cool to get to talk to them and hear their stories.

August 14, 2012 - 5:42 pm

Caroline - Interestingly, I find I’d rather speak with well-known people today than with people from other times. I’d probably travel back to around 2004 or so, and meet up with Taylor Swift before she got famous.

August 14, 2012 - 10:03 am

Tara - Round 2… 🙂 I would go back in time and meet Cleopatra. I’m fascinated with Egyptian culture and just to be in that time period alone would be amazing.

August 14, 2012 - 9:59 am

Tara - Great guest post! I loved learning how Pam decided on her protagonists and the time travel element. I’m putting Kissing Shakespeare on my TBR list as we speak 🙂

Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life - So I have a calendar that I use specifically for book releases, like every book lover does [at least it’s digital, making me less nerdy…]. And it’s absolutely insane how many awesome books are coming out in August!! Especially August 28th. It’s crazy. I totally agree about the money thing- every extra penny is going towards the book fund this month! I’m absolutely dying for Throne of Glass. It looks super amazing. Over You also looks super cute. And I’ve heard some really great things about Wake! So many amazing books, so little money. *sighs*
