Well, hello there. You know, there are a ton of great reasons why having a blog partner is awesome. There is always someone to geek out with. When you get a little tired or busy, they are around to catch you up and keep things running. As far as book blogging goes: you can read […]

Kelly (Radiant Shadows) - I really need to pick up a copy of this. It sounds like something I would really enjoy.
Ps. I’m loving the idea of this feature!
Shelve It: October 07, 2012 - […] We introduced a new feature, Attention, Attention, and Estelle kicked it off with The Perks of Being a Wallflower […]
VeganYANerds - I did like Perks but I don’t think I did as much as most readers, part of me wonders if I would have liked it more as a teen? But I am keen to see the movie!
Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - I knew I was right to be excited about this new feature even before I knew what it was. You girls come up with the best ideas! I loved Perks when I read it, though it actually took me a while to get into it. Now though, I think it’s one of the most interesting and thought-provoking books I’ve ever read! Can’t wait to see the movie 🙂
elena - loving this feature! i read this in high school but umm don’t really remember much about it. i’m trying to figure if i want to re-read before the film or not, which i do want to watch.
p.s. kudos for you for not using “and i swear in the moment we were infinite.”
Jess @ Gone with the Words - Great first pick for a fun new feature!!
The trailer certainly doesn’t show the darker side of this book/movie, but it’s there, trust me. I think you’ll be happy with it. 🙂 I loved it..so. hard. The whole cast was amazing.
Kristen Evey - This is one of those “classics” that I’m ashamed to say I’ve never read! I’ve always had good intentions, but no actions to back it up. I think I must read this soon, especially with the movie coming out (I cannot watch the movie before I read the book. Ever.). Great review. Glad this book holds up well over time.
And also, you didn’t like Rent? Ah! I love that movie. 🙂 But then, I’ve never seen the musical.
Ginger @ GReads! - Hands down, my most favorite book. Nothing I have ever read has moved me the way this book did. And then the movie?! Woah. It’s a simple story, with so much depth. I adore Charlie and literally ached for his character. There is something in that innocence that is so pure.
