Alexa Y. - As you know, I’ve been meaning to read this one! There’s just something quite intriguing about the sound of this story and this sassy main character, and I like the fact that she’s dead set on pursuing a musical career. It does make me wary that you felt like it lacked a bit of depth, as we usually feel the same way about things. But still, I’ll give this one the good ol’ college try!

Asheley Tart (@BookwormAsheley) - Hmm, I don’t really remember seeing much about this one around so this is nice, to be able to read a review on it. I like that you mention that it reminded you of Audrey, Wait! because I absolutely LOVE that book so hard – but then again I like that you mention the things you don’t like, which would probably be things I would find a little off as well (like the age-appropriate thing and the non-supportive boyfriend). I love music, though, so maybe this one will cross my path at some point. (Love that you put the Jay-Z lyrics up.)

Jen @ Pop! Goes The Reader - It’s a shame that this story lacked a certain amount of depth as I normally adore stories that are set in the music scene! I particularly love the fact that Menna went to the trouble of penning original songs and included them in the narrative – Creative touches like that always make a novel extra special ๐Ÿ™‚ I might still borrow this from the library as I’m intrigued by your comparison of it to Audrey, Wait!, which is one of my favourites of the novels I’ve read thus far this year. An absolutely lovely and insightful review, as always, Estelle! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ginger @ GReads! - 2 hours?! Woah. That’s crazy awesome. I adore the new Dessen covers, too. I eventually want to get them all, but right now my bank account is not allowing me to do so lol. You’ll have to tell me how Some of Tim’s Stories is. I’m an S.E. Hinton fan (Outsiders!) so I’m curious about this one.

Courtney @ Courtney Reads A Lot - Wow, Estelle! That is awesome that you got to meet Lauren Graham! I can’t help but think of her as Lorelai from Gilmore Girls. I’ll definitely have to check out her book, especially since you recommended it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Rebecca @ Reading Wishes - So lucky you got to be Lauren Graham, I love her from Gilmore Girls and would love to meet her in person. Her book sounds great and though I’m not an Adult reader, I might recommend it to my mum. 500 autographs is a lot, she really is a rockstar. Also, that’s a great that photo of you and her, you both look lovely. I’ve only read one Dessen book so far and we didn’t hit it off but I’m planning on giving her another go soon. Glad you had fun meeting Lauren, you lucky duck, and happy reading!

Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - AHHH Lauren Graham!! I’m actually really interested in her book. I had never thought of her as an author before this but of course loved her as Lorelei Gilmore!
So nice that you got a signed copy of Sarah Dessen’s book!! I think I may have been at that same signing as Heidi? Was it the Illinois one????

Sara (of the Page Sage) - It’s so cool that you met Lauren Graham! I’ve been dying to read Someday, Someday Maybe since you posted your review. I’ll definitely try to get a copy of my own this week. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hannah @ So Obsessed With - I seriously still can’t believe she signed 500+ books. Dang! What a rockstar ๐Ÿ™‚ Wish I could have joined y’all – that would have made it even more fun!

Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life - Dang, this Lauren Graham signing sounds like it was HUGE! I’ve been to a fair share of large signings, but I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait for 2 hours just to get my book signed. The author sounds like a total rockstar though, because 500 autographs is a lot! I’m liking the new Sarah Dessen cover redoes as well, although I have yet to pick up a book by her… *hides head in shame* It’s so sweet that Heidi got a signed copy for you though. <3

Anyways, I hope you enjoy all your lovely books, Estelle, and happy reading! <3
