Ginger @ GReads! - How did I miss this review?! Gah. You put everything in to words so perfectly! Oh how I adore this book. I loved the correlation you made between Honor’s roadtrip and your own. There’s something quite therapeutic about venturing off, leaving your past behind, and embarking on a new future. Love. Love. Love.

Magan - Meg, there were some beautiful scenes from the road trip. Really great writing! I hope you enjoy!

April 9, 2012 - 1:33 pm

Magan - Same here, Jacinda! I really thought Jessi’s writing got even better in In Honor! I’m glad you enjoyed it, too! 🙂

Jacinda @ The Reading Housewives - I loved this one too. 🙂 I was afraid I wasn’t going to like it much because I only like Moonglass so-so…but I ended up liking it more, so I’m happy!

Meg - Oooh, I love road trip fiction — though the reality of a real road trip is usually not as exciting! This sounds like a great read. This is my first time seeing it, but definitely adding to my wishlist.

April 7, 2012 - 5:07 pm

April Books & Wine - In Honor sounds solid. Also? I really like Jessi Kirby’s writing. AND THE MILITARY. AND ROAD TRIPS. And potential love interests.

Aneeqah - I really wish I could have picked up a copy of this book at ALA Midwinter! Unfortunately, they were all out when I asked for a copy. =( But, I’m definitely going to be picking this up when it comes out! It looks like such a cute book, and really filled with depth. I love road-trip stories, those are so much fun. I can’t wait to be picking this up! Great review. =)

Your color scheme looks pretty! It matches the type of books you girls read.

I always like simple background and header. Your blog is a little simple, which I like it a lot! What you post is what matters!!
