Magan - Me too, Alexa! I was so pleasantly surprised that it was another HUGE hit for me. It’s got me in a fantasy mood now, craving SO MUCH MORE!

May 8, 2015 - 11:55 am

Alexa S. - I’m seriously SO thrilled that you enjoyed A Court of Thorns and Roses, M. Isn’t it so, so lovely? I think Sarah has done a brilliant job writing something different from her Throne of Glass series, and I certainly need MORE.

May 7, 2015 - 1:36 pm

Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - YES! So excited to read your thoughts. I just loved this one too. I was so scared it wouldn’t live up to my expectations having recently fallen in love with ToG.
I loved how it really was its own story but you could easily spot BatB too!

May 6, 2015 - 8:18 pm

Faith - So glad you liked it! Can’t wait to read it because its more Sarah J Maas 🙂

May 6, 2015 - 4:41 pm

Julia Anne @ Peach Print - I’m so happy to hear this book doesn’t disappoint!! I actually have yet to read Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass series (I know, I’m terrible), but once I do, I’m definitely going to get cracking on this newest release. A grownup Beauty and the Beast retelling? Count me in!

May 6, 2015 - 2:31 pm

Magan - Yani! It was released yesterday! RUN TO YOUR BOOKSTORES TO BUY IT! RUN! 😉 I hope you enjoy!

May 6, 2015 - 10:16 am

Yani - I cannot wait for this to be in our local bookstore’s shelves. I want to read it now. I can’t bear the hype anymore. It’s torture.

Alexa S. - On your list, I’m particularly excited about A Court of Thorns and Roses (because Sarah J. Maas!!!!!) and Making Pretty (a seriously phenomenal book from Corey). Happy reading, ladies!

March 17, 2015 - 8:57 pm

Rachel - There are SO many contemporaries I’m excited about reading this spring (plus catching up on some stuff I missed last year). On your list, I’m definitely most excited about All the Rage and Things We Know By Heart!

March 17, 2015 - 4:38 pm

Jen @ Books and Other Happy Ever Afters - YES. I AM SO PUMPED FOR A Court of Thorns and Roses!! I read Things We Know By Heart and I thought it was only okay, but hopefully you’ll have more luck with it! I’m looking forward to Lying Out Loud too, since The Duff was pretty fun. 🙂 Happy spring, ladies!

March 17, 2015 - 3:26 pm

Mel @ Reviews in a Pinch - You have an awesome spring coming your way, bookwise. I’m actually thinking I’ll have to add a few of these to my massive TBR list. Especially Lying Out Loud. 🙂 Great list!

March 17, 2015 - 2:11 pm

Lucy - Awesome list! We have quite a few in common and I can’t wait to hear how you like Andrew Brawley. All the Rage, Things we know by Heart and ACOTAR are high on my list and I’m very eager for Lying Out Loud.
Happy Spring reading, ladies!

March 17, 2015 - 1:57 pm

Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads - A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my list too! I just finished Heir of Fire about two days ago, and I’m already in Sarah J. Maas withdrawal, and I need more of her world-building NOW. I’m about halfway through Things We Know by Heart at the moment, and I’m really liking it so far! I hadn’t read any books by her yet, so I’m looking forward to picking up Golden in the not-too-distant future because I’m enjoying her writing style. Great list!

March 17, 2015 - 12:12 pm

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - Scarlett Undercover looks sooo interesting. I definitely want to look into that one.

I still have read The DUFF yet. I really need to, because everyone says that book is amazing.

March 17, 2015 - 10:04 am

Thirteen Days of Ash and Fire: Heir of Fire (Arrows + Decor)

Shhh. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I haven’t always, always been a wedding photographer. I technically went to college for Interior Design. Though I’m not working in that industry anymore, I still have a strong pull to good design and my heart sure does pitter patter pretty rapidly when I’m inspired […]

Alexa S. - I basically just want all of the arrow decorations you put in this post, M! They’re SO PRETTY. And they’re something I would consider including as part of my living room or library decorations one day. THANK YOU for being a part of the tour, and for the awesome bullet points. (And for being all CHAOL with me!)

Lori - Celeana was the best character I’ve read it a long time. She was so fascinating and…fun. I really enjoyed the book. I’m happy to see that you liked it as well!

July 27, 2012 - 3:45 pm

Randi M - I haven’t read this yet, but it’s one of my most anticipated reads of the year. 🙂 Great review! I really enjoy love triangles when they’re done well, so I can’t wait to meet Chaol and Dorian.

July 27, 2012 - 3:34 pm

elena - I feel like I’ve read SO many reviews for this one lately, haha. You know I agree with your review, esp your questions! I’ve heard mixed things about the prequels so I wonder what you’ll think of it. I know some of them are currently free right now! I really love the world Maas created and can’t wait to go back to it. 🙂

July 27, 2012 - 2:27 pm

Kailia @ Reading the Best of the Best - Yes, yes, and YES! I loved this one too! Celaena was a little too arrogant at first but she grew on me. I loved the world and the plot: I wasn’t expecting some of the twists and the world was gorgeous!

~Kailia @ Reading the Best

July 27, 2012 - 2:22 pm

Anna - I freakin’ love this book. Team Chaol 4-eva!

July 27, 2012 - 11:43 am

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - You already know that I LOVED Throne of Glass. I had my reservations, but I really loved it. A lot of people I know are saying the prequel novellas are great – so I guess we’ll both have to read them to satisfy ourselves before the next one comes out.

P.S. Team Chaol FOR LIFE yo!

July 27, 2012 - 11:01 am

Annette - I’ve heard the prequel ebooks are good, so I intend to read them. I liked the Celeana is already tough. We don’t have to go through her wining and adjusting to becoming an assassin. She already is…It was different and I liked it. Great review!
