Estelle - You can definitely read these out of order. Some of the previous characters pop up but there are so many of them, it doesn’t really make a difference. I think this one might be great to start out with & I love the pocket size of the hardcover!!! SO CUTE.

Tara - I am all about Christmas books, especially in October 🙂 Is this a series you can read out of order or should I start with #1?

Ginger @ GReads! - This series sounds very much like the Lucky Harbor series. I think I may need to give this one a try. Would I be lost if I started with this one? Something about the Christmas aspect really appeals to me right now.

Sharon @ Fictionally Inclined - Consider me intrigued! I absolutely adore that quote you included, and Dirty Dancing is a favorite of mine. I’d want to read this book on your words alone, but it sounds like it can definitely stand on its own feet. Definitely adding this one to my TBR list! I’ve been on a historical kick lately, but I’ll be picking this one up once I’m in a YA mood again.

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - Your review is so, so beautiful. I feel like it does the book justice way more than anything I could ever say. I loved Griffin’s writing, and her setting, and Garnet too.

Em (Love YA Lit) - Wow! What a beautiful cover! I want to see this one in the flesh ASAP! (also for the record: google image search for “silhouette of a sparrow” is awesome) This is the first I’ve heard of this book, so thanks for bringing it to my attention! I’m curious if this book takes place anywhere near where I live – my area was historically a big summer lake resort hot spot a la Dirty Dancing.
