Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - Oh good!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I actually read it in a few hours as well and just finished it last night. I loved the story! Agreed, it wasn’t quite developed as much as Walk Two Moons was, but it was interesting in its own way! It was touching and such a nice, refreshing read!

Bookworm1858 - Sounds like a sweet story though I’m scared about an emotional ending if John and Marta have to say goodbye to Jacob 🙁

Jen @ Pop! Goes The Reader - While I’m not certain this is a book I’m interested in reading, I’m extremely touched by the concept and, like you, couldn’t help but be reminded of Magan and all she and her husband have done to help their foster daughter along the way 🙂 It’s those sort of people who are real, everyday heroes who receive little-to-no recognition for their selfless, tireless work. I can’t imagine being in John and Marta’s position and never knowing the duration of Jacob’s stay or knowing that they might lose him at a moment’s notice. Absolutely heart breaking!
