elena - Love love the phrase “intricate machine”! I balked at the date rape thing at first because it makes me supremely uncomfortable but once I read more, I find myself really wanting to read this book. I especially like that music is such an important part to this book. I’m very curious about how the trial went but I really hate how being drunk can be used to place blame on the victim, no means no. 😐
