April Books & Wine - I liked how emotional Crown Of Midnight was, and omg omg the big tragedy! I definitely got all teary eyed.

I was also really happy with the direction of the romance, but then you know things happened and goodness I am so ready for book three!

I think we all swoon for Chaol <3333

Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads - I’m SO glad to hear that this series just keeps getting better. I’ve had Throne of Glass on my TBR since you loved it so much, and actually ordered a copy a few months ago. I think I’m going to save it ’til the whole series is out (if I can wait that long!) since it seems like one that would be great to binge read from beginning to end =)

Jen - EEEK yes yes yes! I loved Crown of Midnight more than ToG, and omg Chaol (yes to the HUBBA, HUBBA). I loved their romance and it sure didn’t feel like a love triangle to me anymore! Dorian’s secrets also surprised me the most as well. I did get frustrated with Celaena and Chaol’s egos at the end, too. *pulls hair* I’m glad you loved it so much though, Magan! Wonderful review. 🙂

Bookworm1858 - I have seen so many raves for this sequel but I just wasn’t that impressed with the first book so I can’t work up much enthusiasm for the second book. It just didn’t wow me and I’m not sure it would be worth it to check this out.

August 28, 2013 - 7:10 pm

elena - BASICALLY ALL OF THIS! I admire how you always have such thoughtful reviews and I so agree on how Sarah toned it down a bit to see more of Celaena. Cannot wait for the next one!!

August 28, 2013 - 12:41 pm

Alexa Y. - I’m sure you already know that I loved this one too! Sarah did a wonderful job developing her story and her characters, keeping me glued to the book when I read it. I loved the way things have ended up in her story, though that ending has left me dying for book 3 already! I also really like the influx of Chaol in this book, because he’s just so swoony and always has been.

Andrea @Cozy Up With A Good Read - Ahh, I absolutely loved Throne of Glass when it came out last year, Celaena was such an amazing character, so strong and lovely! I can’t wait to read this one especially knowing there is more Celaena and Chaol (because I am all about Chaol!!) Great review, I definitely need this one ASAP!

Daisy - I’m SO glad you loved it!! I can’t stop gushing about this book and I will just squeal when the finished copy gets here! 🙂 I absolutely love Celaena, I’m not sure which of the boys I want her to end up with, I love both 🙂
Also, I’d recommend Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith and the sequel Court Duel, SO GOOD!
I so can’t wait for book 2…

Lori - Celeana was the best character I’ve read it a long time. She was so fascinating and…fun. I really enjoyed the book. I’m happy to see that you liked it as well!

July 27, 2012 - 3:45 pm

Randi M - I haven’t read this yet, but it’s one of my most anticipated reads of the year. 🙂 Great review! I really enjoy love triangles when they’re done well, so I can’t wait to meet Chaol and Dorian.

July 27, 2012 - 3:34 pm

elena - I feel like I’ve read SO many reviews for this one lately, haha. You know I agree with your review, esp your questions! I’ve heard mixed things about the prequels so I wonder what you’ll think of it. I know some of them are currently free right now! I really love the world Maas created and can’t wait to go back to it. 🙂

July 27, 2012 - 2:27 pm

Kailia @ Reading the Best of the Best - Yes, yes, and YES! I loved this one too! Celaena was a little too arrogant at first but she grew on me. I loved the world and the plot: I wasn’t expecting some of the twists and the world was gorgeous!

Anna - I freakin’ love this book. Team Chaol 4-eva!

July 27, 2012 - 11:43 am

Alexa @ Alexa Loves Books - You already know that I LOVED Throne of Glass. I had my reservations, but I really loved it. A lot of people I know are saying the prequel novellas are great – so I guess we’ll both have to read them to satisfy ourselves before the next one comes out.

P.S. Team Chaol FOR LIFE yo!

July 27, 2012 - 11:01 am

Annette - I’ve heard the prequel ebooks are good, so I intend to read them. I liked the Celeana is already tough. We don’t have to go through her wining and adjusting to becoming an assassin. She already is…It was different and I liked it. Great review!
