January 22, 2013 - 5:11 pm

Magan - We’ve since tweeted about this and I AM SO HAPPY YOU ENDED UP LOVING IT! Go, Hannah! You’re going to love, love, love Roar in TtEN. Dang! So good!

January 21, 2013 - 4:23 pm

Hannah @ So Obsessed With - I just started reading Under the Never Sky yesterday (I know, I know), but I already bought this one because I’m anticipating wanting to read it as soon as I’m done with the first book. I’m crazy, right?

I’m like 30% through and definitely need more info on what’s going on. Rossi just throws you right into the story, doesn’t she? I’m a little confused on some of this business, not going to lie.

January 14, 2013 - 12:35 pm

Magan - Asheley — READ IT! READ IT! READ IT! 🙂

January 14, 2013 - 12:27 pm

Asheley Tart (@BookwormAsheley) - Oh yay!!

I won a signed copy of this from Epic Reads several weeks ago and I’m DYING to get it in the mail. It seems like everyone has already read it and I’m having the most whiny of all fits because I WANT IT NOW WAHHH. Okay, I’m over that.

That being said, I literally DID just do a re-read of Under the Never Sky via audiobook recently and it was SO GOOD the second time around. And then I read the little novella. So I’m SO ANXIOUS to dive right into this story since everything is so fresh into my mind. I’m so excited that EVERYONE is loving it, and it seems like everyone is loving it at least as much or maybe even better than the first book. YAYYY!!!

January 13, 2013 - 2:49 pm

Magan - Anna — I don’t think I have a good answer. I LOVE THEM BOTH. EQUALLY.
Brittany — Yes! Natural is a great word to describe their relationship. It just worked. Le sigh…
Taylor — I hope you enjoy it just as much if not MORE!
Hemborgwife — you most certainly need to have this series in your life! 🙂

January 13, 2013 - 2:45 pm

Magan - Keertana — Yes! Me too! Ay yi yi! I just love all the characters! Can’t wait (well, I can because I don’t want it to end) to see how this wraps up!
Rachel — Haha! YES, your library does. I can’t wait to hear what you think about it. Roar = AWESOME.

January 13, 2013 - 2:43 pm

Magan - Mandee — YES, YES! Read UtNS SOON! 🙂

January 12, 2013 - 4:35 pm

VeganYANerds - I’ve skimmed this because I am yet to read UtNS (I know, I know!) but I promise it’s on my read-soon list!!

January 10, 2013 - 6:57 pm

Keertana @ Ivy Book Bindings - Yay! I’m so glad you loved this one! I just adored it and I was so pleasantly surprised by the direction Rossi chose to make this novel go in. I can’t wait for the sequel now and definitely Aria and Perry – not to mention Roar! LOVE HIM! 😀

January 10, 2013 - 3:15 pm

Rachel - MY LIBRARY NEEDS TO HURRY UP AND GIVE ME THIS BOOK. The wait is torture. I have heard nothing but good about TtEN. I’m so happy we get to see more of Roar. I loveeee him!

January 10, 2013 - 12:33 pm

Anna - PERRY OR ROAR: WHO DO I LOVE MORE? Decisions, decisions…

January 10, 2013 - 12:31 pm

Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - I agree! I think Aria & Perry’s relationship felt much more natural in TtEN and I LOVED seeing so much more of Roar! I’m pretty sure I liked this one even more than UtNS! 🙂

January 10, 2013 - 10:31 am

Taylor @ Reading is the Thing - I loved Under the Never Sky, I can’t wait to read this one! Great review!

January 10, 2013 - 6:43 am

Hemborgwife - This sounds good I will need to search where I can get the first book!

Tahereh Mafi and Veronica Rossi at Book People: Austin, TX

For months, I was so excited to see Tahereh Mafi and Veronica Rossi at Book People. If I had one of those big desk calendars (instead of being all technological with my online gmail calendar), I would have circled April 26th with big, happy hearts. These two ladies are extraordinary authors. Tahereh is the […]

Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads - Estelle — you MUST read Divergent. It is fantastic. That is all.

P.S. I think I almost need to stop reading your blog for a while, because I keep putting books on hold at the library based on your reviews and IMMs. Seriously. Hubby currently thinks that I’m trying to move the library’s entire collection into our house.

Magan - Mands, YAY! So glad you added Variant! Let’s read it together. 🙂

April 8, 2012 - 9:18 am

Magan - Elena, you should definitely give Under the Never Sky a try. It was a little slow for me in the beginning, but I really enjoyed it overall. Great description of Divergent, too! Thanks for the comment!

Ginger @ GReads! - First of all, YOU ARE SO PRETTY! I love your hair & I want it 🙂 haha and second, those owl bookmarks are the cutest!

elena - I’ve heard mixed things about Under the Never Sky but I really want to give it a shot! I need to reread Divergent too before Insurgent comes out. Hee, I love that she wrote “choose wisely.” I think you should start a petition or something for Estelle to read Divergent because she’s missing out! My friend describes it as, “The Hunger Games meets an elaborate Myers-Briggs test.” Also people are sorted into intense, dystopian Hogwarts styled factions. Your bookmarks are super cute. I really like the cupcake and punctuation ones too. Hope you enjoy your books!
