Top 10 Tuesday: THE UNDERRATED (5 Books + 5 Authors)

“Underrated” is pretty much an Estelle buzzword. Alexa S. - As always, E, you’ve hit it out of the park with this post! Your recommendations, especially the ones for authors or books I’d never even have looked at before, are always so great, and I love that you book push all of these authors and titles SO HARD. Here’s to hoping more people get alerted to them all (and that I have the time + budget to buy the books that I DON’T have from this list)!

Joséphine @ Word Revel - YES TO JESSICA MARTINEZ! She’s definitely one of my favourite authors and I agree that her books are rather underrated. As much as many seem to be looking forward to Kiss Kill Vanish, not enough bloggers are talking about her other books.

Alexa - I really love Miranda’s Catching Jordan. It is the only one I have read but I own the rest of the series because I need to read more of her great work.
Thanks for the great list! I also love seeing the hidden gems that other people love.

Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know - I both love and hate topics like this. My TBR list grows too much on weeks with topics like this. The only author you mentioned that I’ve read was Leila Sales. I read This Song Will Save Your Life–which unfortunately I didn’t love. But Jennifer Smith (Jennifer E Smith), I definitely need to check out her books! Great list. Several I need to look into!

Amber - Pixie@pageturnersblog - Great list. I almost added Miranda Kenneally – great choice. Here is our top ten.

Quinn @ Quinn's Book Nook - I recently read Past Perfect and thought it was super cute. I just borrowed This Song Will Save Your Life. Can’t wait to give that a shot.

Also, I know what you mean about people calling Statistical Smith’s debut. I haven’t read the one you mentioned, though, so I should look into that. 🙂

Betty - I bookrockbetty promise to read Catching Jordan as soon as I unpack the box of books I had hidden away while our house was for sale. 🙂

Daphne - I loved Past Perfect, too & I agree that it needs a new cover. I have been side eyeing The Comeback Season for a while. I have to say that I read Friends with Boys a while back & LOVED IT. I still think of it occasionally and want to reread. great list 🙂

Lucy - Nice list! I liked Uses for Boys and Bumped and J.H. Trumble, and still need to read Past Perfect and Starstruck. And Miranda Kenneally’s books for sure!
